DAWEI Saviga GOLDEN Super Block OX
Dawei Saviga GOLDEN Super Block are, in a nutshell, modern frictionless long pips. That is, long pips with virtually no grip. If you are already familiar with the Saviga 77 GOLDEN Monster rubber, this is another rubber from this series. In fact, it is a modern replacement for the now out of stock DR NEUBAUER Super Block / Super Block Extreme. Moreover, it is exactly a replacement, not a clone. This rubber is not identical in properties to the DR NEUBAUER Super Block. But it is on the same theme, that is, it has close to zero grip. You could say that it is simply the closest in functionality to DR NEUBAUER Super Block so far. But once again, it is not purely the same. The differences are there. We cannot make an exact comparison of these differences, as there are no samples of DR NEUBAUER Super Block to make this comparison.
The speed of the Saviga GOLDEN Super Block is about average. The feel of the rubber stiffness is also about average or slightly above average. Grip is almost completely absent, but microscopic traction is still present, unlike the older frictionless rubbers developed some 20 years ago. However, that doesn't make modern frictionless pimples worse than the old. Because the presence of microscopic traction also has a great benefit, namely it prevents the ball from slipping off the racket in a number of situations, which was a problem with the old frictionless long pips.
Compared to the Saviga 77 GOLDEN Monster, the grip of the Saviga GOLDEN Super Block is even weaker than the already almost zero grip of the Saviga 77 GOLDEN Monster. To the legitimate question of which is more effective, the answer is simple and standard. Every tennis player would find his own answer to this question, depending on his technique, level of play, tactics and style of play, the blade used and so on. And comparison of these rubbers with DR NEUBAUER Super Block, although it would be interesting, but has no practical sense and is impossible, as it is long gone, and will not be.
Factory supplied - no glue sheet applied.
A note on gluing and removing this rubber in the OX. Due to the fact that these pimples have a very thin and soft backing, they are difficult to adhere and remove from the blade using a glue, even for skilled users. We highly recommend using a glue sheet for this rubber. If you would like, we can adhere the rubber to a glue sheet for you, just add a glue sheet to your order and indicate this in the order note.
As the rubber is frictionless, don't use it for tournaments with racket control (like world champs or Olympic Games), it would not be allowed.
